To save WebP images on Windows, you need an application or software Photoshop. But before using Photoshop to save WebP images, Photoshop needs to install the Plug-ins, WebFormat.
These plug-ins work to add image storage models in WebFormat in Photoshop. JPG image files can be converted to WebFormat files.

How to Install WebFormat Plug-ins into Photoshop
Once you have obtained the WebFormat Plug-ins, extract the selected zip file.
Steps to install Plug-ins into Photoshop:
- Shut down or close any running Photoshop
- Copy Plug-ins
- Go to Folder C on the computer
- Select Program Files
- Select the Adobe folder
- Go to the Adobe Photoshop version
- Then select the Plug-ins folder
- Paste Plug-ins
- Done
Reopen the Photoshop application or software and enter the selected image. And save the image in WebP form. You have obtained the image in WebP format.
