1971 American television film, directed by Steven Spielberg. The storyline of a person played by Dennis Weaver driving a car is terrorized by a semi-truck driver while crossing California.
Duel aired November 20, 1971 for the first time in the ABC film series. The film received good and very positive response with Spielberg's direction. And the film became a classic that was recognized as the greatest television film ever made.
The semi-truck driver's name is unclear, other than only arms and boots in this story. The truck driver remains anonymous, and so is never seen in the series. Motive not revealed "Who's the Truck Driver". Creates its own curiosity and fear in the plot of this film. Anonymous status attached to the truck driver, is a biased effect of the criminal, the real criminal is the truck itself.
